🪤🏴☠️ — Colonial Officials seek to control
Sovereign Supply Chains (SSCs) & undermine Indigenous economies by force.
The Sovereign Collective of Ojibways stands firm: our inherent rights cannot be taxed, dismantled, or denied. The days of colonial control over our territories & economies are numbered.
🌪️⚡️ — Canada may be engaging in deals that look like treaty settlements, but because they are negotiated with Indian Act Band Councils (colonial administrative bodies), their legal validity as genuine “treaty” agreements is questionable.

❌ — The SCO recognizes Band Councils & organizations representing their Chiefs as colonial institutions built to undermine Ojibway sovereignty.
❌ — The SCO rejects any efforts by Chiefs & Councils who wish to secure a portion of the revenue which derives from the destruction of our homelands.
“This [Bill 5] is a concerted plan to keep First Nations on the periphery, threatening our ability for even a fraction of resource revenue opportunity should that be desired.” —Linda Debassige Anishinaabek Grand Council Chief
🤦♂️🤬 — We condemn comments made by the ‘Anishinaabek Nation Chief’ which express support for Band Councils who wish to put the wellbeing of our communities on the Negotiating Table.

🚩 — The Sovereign Collective of Ojibways stands firm: The Métis Nation of Ontario has no claim to our traditional homelands.
💭💯 — We urge Canadian decision makers to reconsider their reliance on guarantees made overseas— we believe the best response to American aggression would be to strengthen ties with Canada’s closest allies & partners, the Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island.
🛑‼️ — We condemn comments made by Mark Carney characterizing Canada as
“The most European of Non-European countries”
We would like to emphasize how harmful statements like these are to the process of Truth & Reconciliation.
⛔️⚠️ — We reject calls for Canada to join the European Union.

☮️♾️ — Wampum Belts are designed to withstand the Test of Time.
Indigenous Nations around the Great Lakes traditionally opted out of using the written word, especially in relation to International Law, as the definition of words are fluid throughout the course of thousands of years.
📃📌 — This Article of International Law was encoded onto a wampum belt & it signified the co-administration of a defined territory between the two nations.
Throughout millennia, this Belt symbolized the historical Anishishinaabe-Onkwehón:we diplomatic relationship & International cooperation.
💬🔊 — The provisions of the One Dish One Spoon Treaty centred around land usage & hunting rights.
Instead of compete & potentially heighten the risk of conflict over perceived rights, concerns or shifting national interests, the Anishinaabek & the Onkwehón:we entered into a Treaty Agreement.
☮️💟 — The One Dish One Spoon Treaty between the Ojibways (Anishinaabek) & Haudenosaunee (Onkwehón:we) is an article of International Law which existed for thousands of years.
This treaty was agreed upon to define boundaries & Rules of Engagement between the two nations within a shared territory.
📝❌ — Treaty Agreements which were written & signed were done so under duress & were inconsistent with what was spoken between the signatory parties.

🤨⁉️ — We are gravely concerned about the first ‘Indigenous Mortgage’ being approved by TD on Reserve Lands.
‘Indigenous Mortgages’ pose a major risk of encroaching & dispossessing of Indigenous territories. We must condemn this & protect the sovereignty of Indigenous nations across Turtle Island.
