And just from some looking around (don't take this as a fact), it seems to me that Celeste videos have been getting less viewed over time compared to for example even 1 year ago. So I wonder if yt just genuinely thinks nowadays to only show Celeste to niche audiences instead of broader audiences

My first thought is that Celeste doesn't have really popular YouTubers, so it's totally up to the algorithm gods if a video gets picked up or not and yt doesn't have a lot of recent references for Celeste speedrun videos to go off

And your video is really well made and liked as the comments indicate. And Celeste does have have a few videos that get wide reach

I only saw this now and am honestly surprised that it does that poorly. I personally didn't expect really big numbers, but Celeste is still a relatively popular game. And even for some lesser played games, if a video is made by a renowned creator like yourself, it's still bound to get some views.
