The problem with this album is every time I get to Emergency I just listen to it over and over again.

Maybe the persuasive essay is the only thing I did again and again and got pretty good at. But even in undergrad English, I spent so much time on broad knowledge and so little time learning how to hone a skill. I had no expectations on how many scenes I should write before finding a good one.

Man I wish we taught the value of iteration more in school. Everything I did before work was one and done or often rough draft final draft.

But it takes so long to make anything great. We aren’t setting the right expectations about how to learn to get good at something.

Not sure why we keep asking these celebrities what their favorite four films are when we already know the best four movies are: E.T., Apocalypse Now, The Prestige, and Nancy Meyer's The Parent Trap.
