Teach your kids their rights! Both of my girls were pissed when I picked them up from school today because my younger daughter was forced to stand during the pledge of allegiance. I think she was just tired and felt like sitting, but she knew she had the right to sit. Had a couple fun phone calls.

So I recently discovered jacaranda trees because they were the picture on the sign on screen on my work computer so I googled if I could have one in Nebraska and google said yes, if I moved it inside. I want one badly enough that I am contemplating building a house around one!

Update: my kids’ dad is giving me half the cost of my iPad so we can give it to our older daughter who got her current iPad after school went virtual in 2020.

Just ordered my pink MacBook Neo! 😀😀😀

I got an iPad in December because I wanted an upgrade from my very old MacBook and then they released the Neo and I am DYING for one but I don’t want to reactivate my Facebook just to sell my iPad on marketplace to cover the cost of the Neo.

I work two jobs (although far fewer hours now) and have one week with my kids and one week off. I’m still recovering from 18 months of working almost 80 hours every two weeks and my apartment is permanently cluttered. I know it could use a deep clean, but I’d be mortified if it were forced upon me.
