boy, when they said facebook was going to suppress queer shit, they were NOT joking, and I now have the graphs to show it

Someone told me to research a legal issue on chaptGPT this week. “I mean, it’s not a lie generating machine.”
“It is actually a lie generating machine though…”
“Well it made me feel better.”

The eternal of struggle of remembering to get characters with glasses to take off their glasses before fucking. #writerlife
I'm open to almost anything tbh. This has been an increasingly annoying issue for my entire freaking life. What I was looking at was recommending cognitive behavioral therapy though and I found that pretty weird???
A quick google search is saying this is geared toward things like balance? I have pretty good balance. Sound just makes my ears hurt. Is that still relevant?
whaaaaaaaaaaat. that is crazy. my ears have bothered me for, like, my entire freaking life. i really need to look into this
I'm sorry, what do you mean that the thing my ears physically do that causes discomfort is just, like, something you want me to solve with therapy??? How am I gonna therapy my inner ear muscles into behaving????????
Me editing a single line of text in affinity publisher 😭
Bonus sneak peek chapter hitting inboxes as we speak! Enjoy 😉
Tomorrow I'm sending out an exclusive preview of my next book, "Wild Fixation." It's the next book in the Rebel Rockstars #mmromance series. If you want that preview, there's only ONE way to get it, and that's by joining my newsletter ▶️ sendfox.com/faraywrites

It's such a shame that that one weird cult makes hands down the best herbal tea that's affordable enough to buy on the regular.
God, I love books. They look nice. They feel nice to hold. They smell nice. They’re the most fun cool thing humans do. They’re cheaper than most other forms of entertainment. Books, man. Books. #booksky #reading
First outdoor run in months. Getting very spring like here.
Got so much admin and outlining done today. We're cooking over here.
It’s nice going back to something I thought wasn’t great when I first wrote it and liking it way more during the editing process. #amediting #writerlife #booksky

Considering the amount of gay smut I produce, I'm gonna go with the priest from my small hometown Catholic church
I personally like the term “queer” as a self-identification, because it is an enthusiastic rejection of normalcy and assimilation. It conjures up Rocky Horror Picture Show type imagery that embraces being weird as hell, out loud and in public. It refuses to explain itself to others’ satisfaction.

lol the account just followed me
Anyways, 10 of my mutuals are following this page, so in case you don’t know: This is a scammy business that doesn’t appear to get anyone results, and they’ve taken the handle/name of an awesome real account that spotlights indie books for free.
I unfortunately have to survive capitalism, and as things stand right now, leaving the KU program lowers my income and raises my costs by an astronomical degree. If readers went to Kobo or something I'd be thrilled to follow them.
I think an overlooked thing about this Amazon boycott is that the people most likely/able to do it are probably more casual Amazon users. Someone with a subscription - say, a Kindle Unlimited subscription - is not a casual user, and they're a huge amount of the reader base for indies. #indieauthor
Yeah, especially when it comes to indie. They are willing to give us a shot BECAUSE we are in KU. tbh the boycott has had very, very little impact on that. There simply isn't a replacement right now, so mostly I've just lost money in service of helping no one.
I'll go where my readers are, but right now the overwhelming majority of MM readers are still in KU, so I truly don't know what to do here.
The pain of being on book TWO of a brand new series and being hit with an absolute banger on an idea for another series..................................
Thankfully I finished this one the day I posted this, or maybe the day after, and got to move on to writing.
The number of people in this thread calling authors “privileged crybabies.” I make less than minimum wage.
Indie authors, I easily found myself in this database, and I’m a *very* small author. You should check even if you think you’re too small to matter.
outlining is hard
