I'm not actually a morning person and neither is the other half. Getting outta bed & take the pain of a workout was hard. But I was doing it at one point and I want to start again.

And no I'm still abysmally unfit. But I've done this obsessively for the last two years and my body weight was trending down. And after a few years of doing nothing, this has been a good routine.

I normally try to hit 8 km / 11620 steps at least everyday & would would have comfortably done much better if not for losing traction in the 2nd half. With that my weight loss goals also went for a toss. But 2025 is a new year. Will finish 2024 strong & carry it forward.

With one day remaining, I've managed to average 10k steps *everyday* in 2024. That includes *at least* an hour (or 5.2 km) of continuous walking. And I will do the same numbers today too and finish the year strong.

For #ToyotaThursday, here's the #27 Team Sard Toyota Supra GT-LM, driven by Mauro Martini, Jeff Krosnoff and Marco Apicella at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995. The #27 ran as high as 7th during the race & finally finished 14th overall.

An intersection in a large Indian city early on a weekend morning.

Shot this early in the morning today, waiting in a traffic light. I knew from experience which was my light. But if you weren't a regular, would you be able to pick your light correctly & go only when yours went green? I'm not so confident.

In an ideal world, the man who claims to lead the world's largest democracy, the so called Vishwaguru, would have to face the consequences of his dear friend being unmasked as a fraud. But here we are...

The draw that meant so much more โ€” Siddhartha Vaidyanathan Australia, India and the triumphant draw in Sydney

Lots of talk about the Gabba Test from 2020-21. It was magical no doubt but if you were to ask me to pick a favorite Test from that series, it was Sydney. A draw for the ages

Wrote this after that Test. On love. And cricket.

And like with most companies these days, A's customer service relies on chat bots. And those chat bots are mostly useless with limited responses that just don't work for edge cases like mine. So I had to get to their store & spend time *getting through* to their folks there.

As someone with some knowledge of tech and as someone who's extremely worried about data privacy, my mind was blown away that A's app let me see someone else's account with all their info - name, address, phone & email, with no straightforward remedy. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ

My mobile number has stayed unchanged and when I got into A's wireless network now, & logged to their app, the broadband a/c is showing up on the app.
Since A has recycled the landline number that they bundled with my old broadband a/c, I can see it on their app even if the a/c isn't mine. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ

It's been 4+ years since I moved cities. And when I moved, my old ISP (A) let me know that they don't service the neighborhood in my new city. And recently I switched cell phone service providers and am now A's customer again. When I installed A's app on my phone, I was in for a surprise.

I spent 4 years in the area & barely went there once or twice. But I'm glad that I got the urge after I got myself a camera!
