West Virginia Governor says he’s deploying WV National Guard to Washington DC

He says they’ll be “providing mission-essential equipment, specialized training, and approximately 300-400 skilled personnel as directed. The mission will be funded at the federal level.”

Senate Judiciary Committee Dems note tonight that despite reports to the contrary, the panel did NOT okay the nomination of Jeanine Pirro to serve as the DC US attorney, and other US Attorney noms Thurs. Dems walked out. Republicans voted without them, but they lacked a quorum, so it didn't count.
