Viewing parties for Star Trek IV.

Also it's the first time we've used it and folk are a bit confused about how it works, which is why I wonder if the results might go a bit "odd". I'm basing this on absolutely no evidence whatsoever besides vibes in my own brain.

I think the odd bit for me, and don't get me wrong I completely think it's better than the democratic abhorrence that is first past the post, is voting for a party rather a specific person. Conceptually and philosophically I don't like it, even though in practice there's no difference.

Plaid couldn't have asked for a better advertisement for their "it's between us and Reform so you should vote for us" line, although I wonder how that's going to be effected by the new, frankly a bit slightly odd, voting system.

I notice that after Plaid's massive win in Caerffili last year, the new constituency I'm in after they've redrawn the boundaries has gone Reform, presumably because we've had to absorb those cunts in Blaenau Gwent.

I don't know about normal folk but they should definitely be worried about running into me.

I don't hate England, far from it, I simply pity a noble people with a terrible habit of voting in awful people to their own detriment.

No, it's from the Jimmy Olsen miniseries Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber did a few years ago, the whole series is hilarious.

I'm reading Superman #219 (1969) in which Clark Kent struggles with a level of fame akin to that of Ringo Starr.

He should try warning his fans with peace and love!

I love it when Coldplay do something reprehensible because it means I fell fine about reposting how much I loathe them above every other band.

I think it's important, while noting Prince's achievements, which were singular and extraordinary, no question, that there is also little doubt that he abused multiple women. I also suspect we haven't heard more because of the lengths his estate still goes to in the name of protecting his legacy.

Because silly wankers like me rage-click on their stories and they want the views, burning the world down simply being a happy accident that will also garner them more views while conveniently aligning with the beliefs of their wealthy senior management.

They appointed him because he said, appoint me ambassador, and they said, yes sir, please and thank you sir, walking backwards out of the room while bowing, their gaze directed downwards.

I wonder why they appointed Mandelson weirdly quickly without vetting, a man with access to an incredible amount of wealthy friends and a deep knowledge of everyone's dirty laundry and the location of every body buried in the past 30+ years. IT'S A FUCKING MYSTERY.

The chance of you walking round Merthyr and finding no-one who would be an enthusiastic Plaid supporter is 0%. But it's only the racists and fascist sympathisers they're interested in. That's what they want to paint us as and it infuriates me.

Sums up the media's Reform fetish that they give a glowing few minutes to Farage's walk around Merthyr, showing people greeting him warmly and boosting Reform, with only one person saying they "reluctantly" vote Plaid. Despite the Caerffili victory you can see the story they're desperate to tell.

He awoke to find himself trapped in the past, facing mirror images that were not his own and driven by an unknown force to change history for the better. His only g

For some reason it never until now occurred to me that Trek V and the Borg happened in the same year, I'm not sure why but that feels completely mental.
