They’re not blind. They’re purposely feckless. They’re in it for personal gain.

So you’re going to be just as foolish and ineffective as the old DNC leadership, making empty comments and name-dropping celebrities. You need to step up and fight. I’m 62 years old. I’ve been a registered Dem since I was 18. This comment makes me regret that.

You’re bandying empty words and aspirational ideals. This is not the time for that. You need to step up and deliver some gut punches. The world we live in, especially now, is harsh and tough. Aspire to a better world when we have the footing for it, not when we’re fighting for our lives.

I like how it sounds without an adjective: “I’m sure Senator Schumer is having his staff draft a worded letter to Republicans as we speak.”

What good would that do? The Congressional record is useless. The whole system is currently impotent. Goes way beyond any particular mechanism.

Leave out “strongly.”

The Dems aren’t just standing around watching. They are weak minded participants involved in every travesty that has happened since January 20. They’ve been like this for as long as I can remember, and I’m in my 60’s. With a very few exceptions, they’re a bunch of spineless boot lickers.

You’re a sycophantic hypocrite and a giant wimp with absolutely no ability to lead with any conviction. You are very much responsible for the mess we’re in.

Get bent. You’re all a bunch of hypocrites. I hope your paper goes under and you all lose your jobs so you truly know what it feels like to be helpless in the face of this administration that you are very much responsible for putting in power.

Mr. Schumer, why don’t you work on something that actually matters instead of wasting time and money on this nothing burger. With out-of-touch leadership like yours, it’s no wonder the Democratic Party fails so often and is such a huge mess.
