Awful the way Helen is so judgemental and patronising towards Kirsty, all the while pretending she's her friend. Why can't Kirsty see it? #TheArchers

I don't think these things will result in village recovery. Tourists don't come to the village where I live, there's nothing to do. They can walk through on public footpaths, though there are less of these than formerly and some farmers don't like you using them anyway. #TheArchers

Very few villages are sustainable now, due to mechanisation and gentrification. Most are simply collections of houses surrounded by industrially farmed land. #TheArchers

What happened to Simon? Did he earn his living on the sea like his father?

Welcome back to this world, such as it is.

Or that he believes the God he pretends to pray to likes a good war!

Perhaps it's only me, but I hadn't realised there were two spellings of compliment/complement. Thanks for drawing it to my attention after all these years. I have definitely used the wrong one many times when referring to colours. #TheArchers

Wouldn't be my first choice but I think I could enjoy painting the walls in many shades of pink and fuchsia. It could be adorable!!! #TheArchers

Yes much worse. Interesting to see if Lilian's unbending attitude to George will change now that Ruairi is in a similar situation. Or her attitude to Ruairi for that matter. #TheArchers

Adam seems happy to plunge his blinkered selfish head into the sand. How much more evidence does he need to see that Brian is very far from alright? #TheArchers

They seem very willing to learn, and it's not that difficult. Appropriate food, shelter, exercise, company and access to a vet. Established bird sanctuaries are full, and at this time of year very busy indeed. #TheArchers

I have had many of these and am now of the opinion that dogs and twats should be barred from all nature reserves. They don't understand even when you explain it to them in the politest way possible. I can forgive the dogs.

Now Khalil and Akram can design a suitable aviary for Fletcher and other rescued inmates. I'm very pleased for him. #TheArchers

Why does Lynda need to give advice to Azra about how to talk about mental health? Why is Azra so often portrayed as clueless? #TheArchers

I agree, but it's difficult to say no to the animals once they arrive. I love my 15 year old dog and 11 year old cat, but I didn't choose them! (If they could talk they'd perhaps say they didn't choose me either) ๐Ÿ˜ƒ #TheArchers

I suspected that might be the case. I'm afraid I will shock you when I tell you that I enjoy them all year round.

Hot Cross Buns are available all year round in supermarkets you know.

I'm imagining that he would have been able to populate his aviary with other rescued budgies to keep the first one company. #TheArchers

What on earth is happening in #TheArchers tonight? Has there been some kind of visitation of the Midwich Cuckoo variety?

The old Robert would have dashed out into the garden to build an aviary with a heated box for the winter. #TheArchers

You didn't mention George, who has been hated for many reasons, including misogyny. #TheArchers

This is disturbing, but if the subject of your agreement is Tom's barely concealed delight at Helen moving out, then we can all agree with him. #TheArchers

Yes, but not if you use flea treatments on your dog. If so, put the brushings into the rubbish bin. The pesticide kills fleas and is poisonous to fledglings. #TheArchers

Perhaps, knitting is a bit more fashionable now, but I'm wondering whether Amber could stop scrolling long enough to cast on. #TheArchers

A very difficult decision, but I'd go for Helen just because of her attitude towards Tony and his Angus cattle. #TheArchers
