“[Trump's] made us poorer and sicker. ... It’s a wrecking ball presidency. It’s been a disaster. An abject failure, F. It’s just a remarkable series of mistakes.”

"We have elected a man who's just so sick that he can't have anybody around him who gives him sensible advice, and he has people around him who are as unwell as he is or...who are just so beholden to the grift."

@gtconway.bsky.social on Trump and his inner circle of grifters and sycophants.

This was murder. Trump is defending a murder, a murder committed on his behalf.

America is not being made safe. It is becoming more dangerous each and every day because Donald Trump is a criminal who commands and encourages others to commit crimes on his behalf—as he has done for years.

This was a problem FBI faced many years ago and they claimed to have fixed it after I and some others absolutely lampooned THE SHIT out of them for it, and now they're doing it again because learning from experience is for suckers.

Martina Navratilova discusses her criticism of Donald Trump: ‘I just can’t be compliant’ The tennis legend said she hopes to “make people think” about the current political moment.

"While many prominent athletes, including LeBron James and Stephen Curry, criticized the Trump administration during its first term, fewer have done so during its second. 'I feel like I’m sometimes screaming into the void,' Martina Navratilova said."

So he did, in fact, say “kill them all”.

FBI Director Kash Patel: "When you attack our nation's capital, you attack the very being of our way of life. This FBI and this DOJ stand here to tell you we will always refute it and combat it."

So let me get this straight: The President’s plan to lower prices is to roll back some of his own tariffs?

I beg to differ. Quite a number of units seem to be near the White House.

Trump is spending $134 million to needlessly deploy troops to LA and $45 million to throw himself a birthday military parade — he seems to think the US military is a toy for his amusement, funded by American taxpayers.

I scanned dozens of newspapers from around the U.S. & world. On average, international newspapers cover the widespread protests against Trump/Musk and for democracy much more prominently on their covers than those in the U.S.
This isn’t due to deadlines, protests were daytime in the U.S. #handsoff

One thing we can say about MAGA Trump is ever since he came onto the political scene in 2015 he's experienced more things he's never seen before than probably anyone, ever. It seems hardly a day goes by when he claims to have seen or heard something like he's never seen before.

Donald Trump has disgraced the United States of America in countless ways since he first entered political life ten years ago.

But he had never disgraced the nation as badly as he did today.

He has brought shame on this country to an extent I had never thought possible. And he has only just begun.

Any psychologist or psychiatrist (or former abused spouse) will tell you that President Zelensky gave a master class today on how to deal with a malignant narcissist.

He is an amazing man. We can all learn from him.

Personal Liberty here in this context freedom for corps to do as they please. It has nothing to do with the liberty of individual American citizens.

Citizens United rears it ugly face yet again. 😡

Tyranny requires your fear, your silence, and your compliance.

Democracy requires your courage.

Opinion | The GOP has somehow backed Democrats into defending the status quo It’s not enough to oppose Trump’s destruction. Americans want change.

Similarly: However frustrated Americans are with healthcare costs, the solution is definitely not cutting funds for cancer research.
Or suppressing research on bird flu. Or taking down seasonal flu shot PSAs when flu hospitalizations just hit a 15-year high etc.

There are real problems with govt! But DOGE's destruction in no way resembles an antidote.
Like, however bloated the bureaucracy might be, the solution is not indiscriminately firing nuclear weapons inspectors, Head Start staff, law enforcement officers & air traffic controllers

FDA’s Food Safety Chief Resigns The chief said the loss of critical employees overseeing the nation’s food supply made his work impossible. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the nation’s new health secretary, has pledged to gut the division.

And now this:

“Jim Jones, the director of the Food and Drug Administration’s food division, resigned on Monday, citing what he called “indiscriminate” layoffs that would make it “fruitless for him to continue.”
