Most Americans support requiring photo ID to vote. Democrats in Congress reject it. As Republicans highlight the most popular policy in the SAVE America Act, Democrats say its other provisions would disenfranchise U.S. citizens and that photo ID rules are unnecessary.

I support voter ID, always have. But the SAVE Act goes way beyond that. If ID is required, it must be free and accessible to everyone. There’s no widespread fraud to justify federal overreach. This should remain a state issue, not a one-size-fits-all law.

Threatening broadcasters with losing their licenses for reporting things the administration dislikes is how authoritarian regimes start controlling the narrative. Hitler’s Nazis did the same, attacking the press and labeling truth as lies. A free press is essential to democracy.

“Unconditional surrender” isn’t foreign policy, it’s fantasy. We launched an illegal war, and now Trump says there will be no deal unless Iran capitulates completely. That’s not diplomacy, that’s ego. Wars end with negotiations, not Truth Social ultimatums.

This is going to be hard for some people to accept, but I think the US government is lying to us about the state of negotiations between itself and Iran.
