Yes, YES, thank you! This is what I've been saying. I'm sorry to say that being even slightly more lenient would catapult it to GOTY material but as it is now it's absolutely fantastic amazing and fun boss fights, but everything else just makes me feel like crushing my nuts with a rock tbh.

there's something magical about the window after the release of a new MOBA where no one knows wtf is going on, everyone is just mosh-pitting and FAFOing around the map and it rocks until the sweatlords ruin it.

I have a lot more thoughts but these are just my quick notes. I am enjoying the game and hope you are too.

it's not GOTY material to me, but definitely one of the games with the most impact in recent years.

- the delay between starting the dash and being able to jump has been my bane since the moment I unlocked dashing.

it's peak to zip your way around the map, except for this slight (and sometimes extremely tight) timing that results in death often.

when you get it right tho it's satisfying af

- you grab off ledges.

- if you float with your cape downwards towards a ledge, you grab.

- if you instead bump into the platform ever-so-slightly laterally, you wont grab.

- despite the swing looking like it covers Hornet, if a small enemy stands "on you" and you swing, it doesnt connect

I feel the game sometimes demands you play at it's tempo. otherwise it becomes very harshly punishing and quickly spirals into a frustration-tolerance test.

there's a few movement inconsistencies (like hanging off ledges) here & there that make the player feel they're not in control, for example

#silksong aight I smashed the dancers, but I need to get this out of my system.

the game enhances the boss fight experience with soundtrack, a beautiful, melancholic, but very visually pleasing aesthetic, the atmosphere is tops and I'm having a lot of fun moving around and fighting big baddies BUT

Am I the only one who thinks of this dude when I hear #silksong?
