If you only care about Safari, you should be able to install Adblock Plus and load OISD Big into that.

I just use it with the OISD Big blocklist (oisd.nl/setup) and was pleasantly surprised by it.

Pi-Hole blocks Paramount’s ads quite effectively in my experience.
