As much as I hate to say it, bad follow up is something I've experienced before. I applied to be on the Homelessness and Housing Committee (I may be getting that abbreviation wrong) but withdrew my application after their search team blew a week past their notification deadline with no word.

I emailed her assistant last week and received no response. Really bad look, makes it seem even more inequitable to humor the poors with no timely follow up. So it looks like I'll have to request another meeting to chase down answers that they should be interested in providing me. Sad.

So, at the meeting with Councilor Avalos I was told that someone would be in touch to answer my questions about the language of the agreement that gave Friends Of Sellwood or whomever a $1 building and whether there was any service guarantee or accountability in it. Disappointingly, ghosted.
