Haven’t been on here in a long time.

Just to update you all on my life…

I moved to CT, and now there are alpacas living down the street from me

!!! Just found out that one of my poems has been selected for a local poetry trail.

It’ll be engraved on a plaque in a spot where people can read it as they walk the trail

Pretty darn cool!!

Two Mini Cooper birthdays on the same day = ✨birthday extravaganza ✨

So far completed:
• 10yo’s cake for his party
• cookies for 10yo’s party
• pudding pie for family celebration
• cake balls for school celebrations

Left to do:
• cake for 12yo’s party
• cookies for 12yo’s party

I’m trying to be less picky because grocery shopping has been too much for me recently 😅

But my shopper today didn’t get a critical ingredient for the dinner I was going to make (refunded it with no attempt to replace it)… and that was annoying to find out later

I don’t want to be that guy™️ but I would be willing to pay more money to have a female instacart grocery shopper

Every time a guy does it, he ends up refunding things with no notice or attempt to replace things + giving me moldy/excessively bruised produce 🫠

In expectation of @lalalisacooper.bsky.social's forthcoming book of poetry I picked up a book with my favorite poem in it and was reminded just how little I know about the technical aspects of poetry. So many things I don't understand about why things are formed the way they are.
