The WGA Negotiating Committee has unanimously approved a tentative agreement w the AMPTP for the 2026 MBA. This deal protects writers’ health plan & puts it on a sustainable path, builds on gains from 2023 & helps address free work challenges. Members will receive more info in coming days #WGAStrong

New York wouldn’t be New York without its film and TV industry. Responsible AI policies like this protect the actors who keep it running.

Gov. Hochul Signs Union-Backed A.I. Bills at SAG-AFTRA New York Office
The Governor signed two bills championed by SAG-AFTRA that safeguard both performers and the public from unauthorized or deceptive A.I. uses.
Great news for New York! Post-mortem right of publicity and the disclosure of synthetic performers in ads have both been signed into law. Thank you to @GovKathyHochul for your dedication to protecting #SagAftraMembers and New Yorkers.
