Hungary. I’m proud of you. Let’s hope our right wingers invite Vance on the eve of our elections too. Brilliant own goal. #hungary #byebyeFascist

We had 3 fantastic days of weather in southern Britain. Listen to the wildlife. Gotta love a dose of spring #kent #spring #garden #nature

Update your Chrome and give it a try!
Reminder: If FIFA weren't an organized crime ring, they would have removed the US's status as World Cup host already.

Seems apt for planet bonkers.
They are proper knobs. Imagine writing to a brain surgeon and telling her that you can reduce her losses by 42%. Nope, you just wouldn’t.
Gorgeous bit of weather.
Bending a straight line using pure CSS?! 👀
Another cool demo in progress powered by border-shape. It's coming to @developer.chrome.com next week! 🤩

CSS is DOOMed!
I've build DOOM in CSS and every wall, floor, barrel, and imp is a div, positioned in 3D space using CSS transforms.

Try it out! But... not every browser can handle it. This is taking the browser to its limit. Chrome has some issues. Safari too. Bugs will be filed.
Happy birthday Judith!! 🎂 🍷 🍫
I got impatient 🤓
I’m off sick! I’m going to watch it for the umpteenth time tomorrow, weather forecast is gloomy! Winning 🤩
I watch this periodically- I love the old clipped English accent intro and the swirling mists at the start where they talk about times and things forgotten. A masterpiece
If you got this far, thanks for staying with me.
Maybe go do something nice for someone somewhere 🤓

I’ve digressed. Life is full of all sorts of challenges, as crap as my current predicament is, it’s but a shadow of what others face daily was my point. Life isn’t a stream of joy, being human IS sometimes hard and it’s full of seemingly absurd, unfathomables.
…day in hell if we did. In fact it’s a simple reminder to just be nice. Don’t be cunty; resist the urge to get embroiled with mr or mrs angry and just move on. Fighting fire with more fire and all that jazz. Sounds a bit idealistic perhaps, and polarised social media definitely doesn’t help…
for we are all different right? We all have our daily life challenges that we seek to lessen in whatever ways that we can - it’s always been an unfair uneven world and it likely will continue to be so. Of course that’s not to say that we shouldn’t help each other where we can, it would be a colder…
..don’t really have the funds to help meaningfully, as many of us are pretty near our own set of everyday cost of living challenges. It might be easy to judge too. Is that manicure really necessary for instance, and yet we know not what pleasure or comfort that might bring to the person receiving…
No access to pain killers, surgery, queuing for hours, watching your kids or loved ones suffer. I don’t think that the collective we, consider these things enough, they just get forgotten in the news cycle / we become muted to the stream of ads that highlight competing causes and yet, many of us…
If you watch any news and have any level of compassion for others you’ll soon realise how fortunate you are. As poor as my healthcare has been, it’s like gold compared to that in other places. Can you imagine living in Gaza, or parts of Iran today for instance. Hospitals smashed to rubble. Hopeless
You definitely get more time to pause and think and to think about other aspects of life. In general I like the expression “comparison is the thief of joy” it reminds you not to push too hard, and appreciate what you have, over what you don’t. There’s always something “better” but it has a price
It’s also easy to go down rabbit holes and you begin to wonder when things are going to start improving. You also start to do a little more catastrophic thinking, so it’s important to recognise that when you do, and to check yourself. It is rubbish I can’t lie, but there are also opportunities
My kids live miles away and have their own life challenges to deal with, and I’m not one to burden others. I’m lucky to have a good neighbour who helps out with shopping and general daily sanity checks, plus online grocery deliveries are pretty good too. I miss my fitness activities hugely.
An issue with slow healing problems is you don’t quite know where the light at the end of the tunnel is, you realise how much you took simple mobility for granted and the seemingly endless hours of discomfort, popping pain killers etc gets old. Living alone brings challenges too; independence sux 😏
It sounds trite but if you have your health you really do have your wealth. I’ve been pretty much immobilised now for 3 weeks. ( a yet to be diagnosed ankle issue - probable peroneal tendonitis ) and luckily for me I’ve been able to sustain myself with my savings. Of course these aren’t exhaustive
