It is a really good album. It seemed like Fish had such a run of misfortune. Soured relationships, medical problems, inability to get backing and promotion. Album production issues, tours falling apart, covid disruptions. The world was really working against him. Hope he is happy.

when young I was grumpy about music etc I didn’t like. Now I injist let people like what they like. It doesn’t affect me. Unless it is some bigot like Kid Rock or the innumerable country transphobes and bigots. That I will call out.

Good for Shinedown but they and management should have known better. Kid Rock was always a garbage pile.

Seems he saw the death of the album coming. File sharing songs and overlong CDs all lead to the album’s decline. Streaming and playlists too.

two things I like and appreciate about vinyl LPs. Artwork and a break where I can decide to carry on after 20-25 minutes. Oh and sequencing to fit sides and make sure to put the quiet songs at end of the sides.

Unfortunately Zombie’s films are dreadful. Just unwatchable for me. I am sure he is nice guy and all but…

Agreed on this great late era song. I caught empathy and nostalgia and even loss for a show and people (puppets?) I had never even heard of.

Not many artists have enough Great songs to make really long albums. It can be exhausting ore tiresome to listen to a record that goes past 50 minutes. If music is just background noise for you that is fine but if one actually listens and engages you hear a lot of mediocre songs on long allbums

I think you can really hear how much Andy and Stewart bring to the songs when you hear some of the demos.
