I will continue to be part of the problem as well bc I will be 30 years old, sat in the theaters for the Super Mario Bros 3 movie so I can see Daisy and the teased Luaisy ship I was PROMISED THROUGH THE DIALOGUE. And they better utilize her well.

Overall: 5/10 if I’m being generous, 4/10 if I think about it too hard. The individual components (VA’s performances minus Pratt, the VISUALS omg, the score) were very nice but the pacing and story were wack. Felt like the longest movie in the world

I tabled there several times before the event attracted people from across the country. As far as the “advice” pro artists give to smaller artists like me about “tabling at local events”: this IS my local event. I’m just at a loss rn.

We went through every channel to attempt to do this the right way. We reached out the the event with an earnest request, not expecting anything. Only after they took our money did they pull this unprofessional move and revoke my permissions to table there. And now we’re being ignored.

There’s always that professional side of you that reminds you that conventions acceptances and rejections are not personal, but the way this whole situation was handled makes me feel so targeted and singled out.

An update: they’re literally ignoring all the emails we sent them.

I understand that cons have the right to set rules, but I’ve been doing cons for 5 years now and I’ve never felt so humiliated by an artist alley director or an event in my life. It really makes me wanna cry
