I was fortunate to see Ozzy a few more times over the years, including the last Black Sabbath tour ("The End"). I watched the amazing "Back to the Beginning" tribute and farewell concert live stream a couple of weeks ago. Despite his physical limitations, Ozzy seemed so vibrant at that last concert.

I always thought of Ozzy as a heavy metal hippie. Really listen to songs like Crazy Train, Revelation (Mother Earth), War Pigs, Killer of Giants and more, and you'll see what I mean. I even wrote a college paper comparing Ozzy's song 'Thank God for the Bomb' to Dr. Seuss's "The Butter Battle Book."

Ozzy Osbourne was my sixth concert; my buddy Rich and I were juniors in high school. The tour was for the Bark at the Moon album, Motley Crue opened, and we still talk about the impatient crowd chanting, "Open the f***ing doors!" before the show.

I've been following Marc Scibilia since a living room concert in 2012, and I was so thrilled to see a packed crowd for him at The Bottleneck! I had a blast alternating between snapping photographs and just getting lost in his songs and energy.
