It still amazes me that in the next update we will have Xbox 360 and triforce systems on Android and MacOS
3.4.10 soon™
Yesterday we tried to get a round up of how testing is going and i think its safe to say Leon got sidetracked playing Halo on his Odin 2.
Its amazing to think that we went from no Xbox emulation on android to 2 solid emulators in such a short amount of time.
Dont mind us - Just over here doing some final testing on the next update.
Here we are checking it on one of the new lower ram devices (2gb). Although performance is still good we do recommend 3gb as some themes are quite heavy.
3.4.1 Coming Soon™

You know its bad when you dont trust anything on April 1st so i had to update dolphin and check it out.
Yes its true GBA player working.
Now most people will be aware that Resident Evil just turned 30 yrs old but another game which was just as beloved on the original system also turns 30.
Lets show some love to Tekken 2 (1996)
when it works! I blame Laz
Quick Question to help us:
How often do people update their emulators and how do you do it.
Also please let us know which platform.
IE: I update once a week on android using obatinium or Only when it stops working and i download it direct from the website on windows.
Loved it at the time, now it hurts and fills me with shame at what i did.
CRT all the way now. Its too "clean" without it
In the early days of emulators especially with snes9x the one thing I didnt look for was accuracy, i wanted to make it look super smooth with those filters like super Sai and scaleFX. Now the thought of using something like that horrifies me.
Is this just me?
We always talk about retro games but where is the love for retro emulators?
How many of you used any of these?
Give yourself a point for each one and post your score.

Yeah support will be there in the next update. Really just curious as to how it performs as there are way too many devices to compare it on
How many people have tried xbox emulation on android?
We have been testing it a bit as part of adding support and wondered how well it has been working across the many many many android devices?

Game of the Weekend:
Ever wanted to build your own dungeon? Want to set traps to keep the good guys out and protect your monsters? Bullfrog productions has you covered...
Dungeon Keeper (1997) [Dos]
After Theme Parks massive success Bullfrog followed up with the most unlikely management and development game set in a hospital with the strangest diseases...
Theme Hospital was the perfect match of humour and gameplay.
Theme Park was so good - Theme hospital too. Luckily we still have two point studios with some of the team from bullfrogs heyday
Following the success of Populus Bullfrog took a bit more lighthearted turn and gave us the game that turned every kids head in 1994. Building your own theme park.
Theme Park
(1994) [Dos, Amiga,3DO]
(1995) [Megadrive/SegaCD, PSX,SNES and more]
Considered by many as the first "god" game (where the player has creator and supernatural powers to control civilisations), Populus quickly became one of the best selling pc games of all time.
Populus (1989) [Amiga, Atari ST, DOS]
This week i wanted to celebrate Bullfrog Productions who are often overlooked and yet their contributions to the strategy & management sims are massive. They made these games fun and inviting for kids and with enough humour to keep adults playing.
Apologies all, otherworldy forces have attacked the team distracting us with real life. Dont fear we are closing in on the final boss and normal services resume next week. Got a lot of things almost ready including potential new themes and emulator additions and updates.
Game of the Weekend:
With todays big release lets go back and look at the first entry into the series - released 30 yrs ago.
But which version did you play first? PSX, Gamecube remake, HD remaster, directors cut or DS
Resident Evil (1996) [PSX]

Im not saying handheld system designers should take to V-Tech.
But it wouldnt be a bad thing...
Game of the Weekend:
With the announcement today for the preorder of the GBA games for S2 lets take a minute to appreciate that 30 yrs ago this franchise began in Japan with the release of 2 games, 1 which never saw a western release.
Pocket Monsters Green (1996)[Gameboy]
What is the best selling video game of all time?
Well there are two main compeditors for this:
Minecraft (2013) which has sales in the region of 350 million copies across all versions.
Tetris (1988) which if totalling all versions including mobile downloads exceeds 500 million
