Tomorrow is Election Day! Make sure you drop your ballot off or vote in person between now and 7pm tomorrow.
Do NOT try to mail your ballot in today. We are too close to Election Day, and it won't be received in time to count.

School boards set policies for local public schools, influence curriculum, oversee school budgets, hire and evaluate superintendents, and shape what values guide the district’s decisions. These elections matter.
These efforts have to get a certain number of Colorado voters to sign a petition to get these exclusive policies put on our ballots in 2026. If someone asks you to sign a petition, make sure you read the whole thing. Don’t take their words at face value. #handsoffcolorado

Two dangerous ballot initiatives are circulating in Colorado right now: one would ban trans kids from playing school sports (#109), and another would ban gender-affirming care for youth (#110). #handsoffcolorado

No child should ever experience what happened today at Evergreen High School. Students in Jefferson County, across Colorado, and in every part of this country should be safe in school.

The "Big Beautiful Bill" is anything by beautiful. We have a breakdown of some of the cuts and some cuts that were removed from the final bill; however, many won’t feel the effects of these changes until after the midterm elections in 2026.

Marriage License and Civil Unions Name Changes: Allows people to get a new marriage license and civil union license after a name change with no indication that a change occurred and retains the original effective date.
School Chosen Name and Dress Code Policies: If schools or staff enact chosen name policies, they must be inclusive of all reasons a student might adopt a name different from their legal one. Students must be allowed to choose freely from any of the dress code clothing options provided.
Good news! After a vote late last night, the Kelly Loving Act (HB25-1312) is on its way to the governor’s desk for signature. This is the last step before the bill becomes law. This bill is an example of people-powered legislation that centers community voices.
Info graphics continued in next post.
It’s honestly hard for me to listen to people advocating against my rights and the rights of people I love.
But I am so so so grateful for the voices that never stop pushing for what is right. These are some good ones for sure.
A newly released U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) report attempts to replace decades of best-practice medical care for transgender youth by interfering in the freedom to make medical medical decisions for ourselves and our families with our doctors.
I get to work in a pretty cool place.
I’m here and I have a question. Is the sky always blue over here? Because I could use some blue skies.
