Records that are absolutely astonishing that no one gave a f**k about when they came out and are now lost to time. What’s your favourite? This is mine. Those Bastard Souls. Died a death of indifference in 1999 on V2 (BMG).
Altho I prefer to celebrate the days folks came into this world , it has been brought to my attention that this day some years ago Lux Interior ascended onwards to yet another plane. Here’s a typical night on tour with the force which was Lux . youtu.be/Az0W9VNDAt8?...
@danmartin.bsky.social Thanks to you and Sam’s for all the work on the Arrow podcast over the years. I’ll really miss it.
Not for the first time ether x
Nice early Trux. A beauty.
I’ll post a picture of mine later and see if it’s the same.
Yes, I’m religious. I believe in the holy trinity vol. 2
Here we go… #mcfc
Even better. I’ll be turning in next week. Cheers!
First time listen last night and stumbled across you playing some of Fragile at its most complicated. You have a new listener. Hi from Manchester, UK.
I spent 90 minutes saying just that with an added F word.
Current vibe.

Old Bollywood tapes in my local second hand record shop. #manchester
I watched the Welsh film the other night. Really good. Shopping up to be a good second volume. :-)
On the new Folk Horror box set? Beryl Reid 4 Life.
Waterstones. Arndale. MES signing. Written on whizz in under an hour. The book not the signature. Book is not good. Unless you like grumbling.
My signed copy of Mark E Smith’s autobiography, Renegade. There’s a lot to unpick here. Possibly a signed copy of an already signed copy.
All bets are off. The world’s finest T-shirt has arrived.
Good morning.
My Spice membership card.
Favourite Mike Love era by far.
Kalvin Phillips?
Thank you. I found them at the back of the drawer from when I was 16 😬
Weird BBC British modern noir from 1986.
I just picked up an original UK quad of this magnificent film. It’s a beauty.
Oh shit just seen the news J Saul Kane has left the building. He seemed to care more about photography than music in later years but my god his catalogue is up there with the greatest of the greatest.
That’s a wonderful piece. I adore this film and it’s rare to read about it, especially with such an interesting take. :-)
A gloomy day in Manchester. Here’s St Francis church in Wythenshawe designed by Basil Spence in 1956. Remarkable architectural design. Unloved and unused currently. Couldn’t get inside today.
