So air launched would probably mean cruise missiles. The same Kalibr missiles recently knocked down by EW systems?

Possibly.

It will not end the way he expects. He’s living in a bubble of lies. His generals are as corrupt as he is, the whole command structure is riddled with thieves.

Senator, with all due respect there is no reason for ICE to exist at all. Immigration is a civil matter, not criminal. We don’t need badged federal employees riding roughshod over our constitution in order to detain and deport people.

Local police serve to detain criminals, whether migrants or no.

It’s time we outlaw the GOP. All GOP members and leadership must be banned from local, state, and national politics. They are all complicit in the authoritarian destruction of our democracy.

Voters will not choose them, so they are passing laws to choose who gets to vote.

Best election ad for Zelenskyy ever. High praise indeed.

He’s right. What Ukraine has done is invent micro air superiority. They recognize that surface to air defenses just can’t deal with small drones.

That plus integrating drone reconnaissance and strike capability with frontline troops? It’s changing the face of modern warfare.

But in their ignorance, this bunch has fired anyone who might ask “how high?” when told to jump. But it’s the ones who understand the mission who win battles.

It’s the ones who understand both the mission and the limits of what you can ask of troops who win wars.

It’s called professionalism.

No amount of “gung-ho” warfighter spirit can make up for hot chow and a clean rack. You need leaders who have learned the hard lessons of combat. You need people in your command structure who understand the role of logistics and will make sure your warfighters don’t run out of ammo and food.

The logistics of keeping a carrier strike group operational at sea for extended periods is nightmarish. Troops need to be rested, ammo and food has to resupplied at a tremendous rate, and that has to happen from supply ships that are loaded and deployed weeks before they arrive.

Modern ships are floating cities (or towns) with up to thousands of troops who live, work, and play aboard ship for months at a time. And like cities, they need constant resupply. Unlike cities, however, you can’t just truck in breakfast every morning.

There are no highways at sea.

They have used them for drug interdiction, regime change, blockades, and… major combat operations. Everything.

Result? We have over tasked and over extended our forces and subtly degraded their capacity to fulfill mission objectives. In their ignorance they let logistics fall by the wayside.

Then they buy the hype from opportunists who tell them that their particular weapons platforms are the ultimate in force projection and lethality and yes they can definitely accomplish any mission. Because they are “gung-ho.”

Which leads them to use these for everything. And I mean everything.

So this is not a surprise. It’s a combination of ignorance and overtasking due to said ignorance.

See, policy makers tend to buy into the myths that some “warfighters” will give them. They fire everyone in the organization who built their careers on logistics. You know, the ones who win wars.

Not even that. We are getting conflicting signals from Iranians. It’s difficult to tell if we are negotiating with the right faction(s) and ultimately we won’t know if we close to any kind of deal until we have a working memorandum of understanding and progress toward actual terms.

Here’s an idea. This July 14th, (Bastille Day) let’s all gather at the ICE detention center in our city or state with about 10,000 friends and ask nicely for the release of all those sequestered within.

America could use its own Bastille Day!

It’s not clueless, it’s statistics. Even if only a quarter of a percent of users download the app it pays off.

It’s like spam email, vendors only expect a small fraction of people to respond and even fewer to actually buy. But even those slim numbers are financially worthwhile.

How could it not have been staged? You don’t think DoorDash drivers can just walk up to the Oval Office Rose Garden door with a large package do you?

Seriously, the orange pedo’s term in office would have ended in the first five minutes if that were the case.
