Joel immediately manages a smile when Stephanie brings out toys for the rabbit and Joel can tell already that Senor Scratchy is going to love them

“They are wonderful Stephanie and I know that he will love them and yes, actually I have. He chewed off some of my shoes laces before I even noticed.”

“It is alright. I needed new laces anyway.” Joel clears his throat and then Joel also gives Senor Scratchy a small wave “Hello Senor Scratchy, welcome to Jackson.”

Joel then shares a small smile with Violet and then he exhales softly “He’s your familiar, right? I heard about familiar’s before.”

“No. She’s not like that. Persephone just takes a little bit longer in warm up to people so try and not take it personally, okay?”

Joel smiles at Sarah and then takes Sarah and gives her the gentlest squeeze he can possibly manage “Talk with her. Who knows, she might just surprise you, yeah?”

Joel is nodding his head because he is really happy that Violet and Stephanie are on talking terms again and Joel nods his head because he thinks that he can help Violet with doing something special for her mom.

“That’s good, no, amazing that you are. Maybe I can help you do something special?”

“She did? I mean that is pretty amazing Stephanie and I am so glad that you are both getting along again. I take it that you both sat down and spoke about everything?”

Joel is smiling and Joel gently gives Stephanie a gentle cuddle “You know that I am both so proud of both you for this, right?”

“Yeah Darling. Jackson always has their own items to make things like pizza, don’t worry it will all work out perfectly. You’ll see Darling.”

Joel leans forward and presses a gentle kiss before Joel then caresses Persephone’s face “Are you going to be okay Darling? You seem on edge Darling.”

“ I have also heard that that make up sex is great when you have had an argument with your partner and of course I want to have make up sex with you.”

Joel picks up Persephone and then starts passionately kissing Persephone on the lips whilst Joel is gently laying Persephone down on the bed.

Joel smiles now because he is happy to know that Stephanie is feeling better, well actually he is relieved and Joel also holds Stephanie in a tight hug for a few seconds.

“I am glad me listening helped you feel better Stephanie and just know if you are ever feeling sad again then I’ll listen.”

Ellie holds on tightly to her mom and doesn’t let go for a long time after especially because Ellie had thought she’d never get to cuddle her mom again.

“Can we have a family movie night tomorrow mom? I think it will be fun and maybe we can even make our own pizzas as a family activity too.”

“I am very handsy today Darling but I just can’t help myself when I have a very beautiful wife.” Joel takes one more squeeze of Persephone’s ass and then Joel smirks.

“You know that I would never say no to that my Darling, especially because I love when you take control of our special time.”

Joel laughs softly and then he nods his head because he has to agree that what he just said then did make him sound like a dirty man.

“It isn’t but when we get back into our own bed I am sure that some fun can be arranged if you still feel in the mood for fun when we are back home, my Darling.”

“You could ask her, though I don’t think she will mind if you call her mom eventually.” Joel smiles at Sarah and then gently kisses the top of her head.

“Try hanging out with her too. Who knows, maybe you’ll both find something that you both have in common and didn’t even know that you did.”

“You know I have a wife sweetheart, I have had a wife for a while now and she does make me very happy but even if that weren’t the case I would still be happy so please don’t ever worry about that.”

Joel places a gentle kiss on Sarah’s forehead “You’re going to be alright kiddo, aren’t you?”

“It’s okay mom, Abby already explained it to me and I understand that you were just trying to help me.” Ellie is now looking at her mom and listens to what her mom says.

“I can come home but only if you are absolutely sure it is what you want mom. I wouldn’t want you to feel like you’re forced.”

“I think getting back on track sounds perfect.” Joel doesn’t waste anymore time and takes Persephone into close to himself again and starts making out with Persephone again but Joel is also squeezing her bum

“I hope you know that I am keeping you right here with me for as long as I possibly can.”

Joel takes Persephone into his arms and presses a gentle kiss on Persephone’s lips and then smiles at Persephone whilst he is gently caressing Persephone’s lower back.

“That is a good choice that you made Darling and I did sleep really well, though I will admit I did miss having you in bed.”

Joel holds Stephanie for a while and then he smiles at Stephanie once Stephanie breaks their hug and then Joel nods his head towards Stephanie.

“Of course. You know I heard that someone letting you ramble is actually very therapeutic and honestly I do actually believe that it does work.”

Joel nods his head because he can actually understand exactly how Violet feels and Joel gives Violet’s a gentle squeeze and then Joel smiles at Violet.

“So what do you plan on doing next kiddo? I can tell this is a big thing for you and feel like you should get to take this serious.”

Ellie walks back in with her mom but is also using her good hand to hold her mom’s hand whilst they are both walking back into the house.

“I also don’t want to get an infection but I wasn’t sure if I could come and ask you for help because you have been so stressed I didn’t want to add to it.”

“You really find it hot, Darling? I am surprised because I never thought that you’d find something I am doing to be hot but for you I will happily do the stutter on occasions.”

Joel is smiling at Persephone but then leans in and gently presses a kiss on Persephone’s lips a few times delicately.

Joel wakes up not long after Persephone, stretches and then comes over to Persephone and then Joel places a gentle kiss on Persephone’s shoulder and then Joel smiles.

“Something smells good Darling and I don’t just mean what you are cooking. How did you sleep my love? My beautiful darling.”

“You weren’t meaning it in a malicious Stephanie so please don’t be so hard on yourself. Violet might not know it yet but once she has calmed down Violet will see that you meant well.”

Joel is keeping an eye on Stephanie because he is concerned about Stephanie but Joel is also gives her a smile.

“With what?” Joel says softly and he gently puts a hand on Violet’s shoulder and gives Violet a small and warm smile but Joel then gives Violet a cuddle.

“You know that you can tell me what is on your mind kiddo, especially if it’ll help you feel better. I can be a good listener sometimes.”

“Are you sure? You know that you don’t have to do all of this, I can think of something that can be done within Jackson that Persephone will love the same.”

Joel has still taken the book and smiles small at Violet but at the same time Joel also gives Violet a gentle cuddle and a light squeeze.

Joel doesn’t really know what to do but instead of saying anything Joel just takes Stephanie into a big cuddle and also gently taps Stephanie’s lower back.

“I wish I could say something good for you but I don’t want to keep saying things to you that might be true. How can I help cheer you up?”

“I didn’t want to bother you because I know it annoys you and I didn’t know what else to do.” Ellie admits honestly and then she looks up at her mum

“Are you angry with me mom? I know your garden is important to you but I wanted to do something special for you and I thought this would be nice.”
