I have written a book for parents and primary schools to help children understand what bullying is and the importance of being kind. Illustrations are by Amy Crosby and there’s a contribution from Dr Pooky Knightsmith. #MudBoy is published by JKP uk.jkp.com/products/mud...
@ssiggs.bsky.social Thank you so much for donating your fantastic book to the Little Loves Library.
I just have just read through this beautifully written and illustrated book and I’m so excited to share it with others.
An empowering story with added advice and guidance too!
Oh that would be fantastic! Thank you. I will message you.
Lots of great books being bought, donated and collected for this very excited venture!
I can’t wait to start sharing some amazing books and resources with everyone ❤️ #swindon #LittleLoves
I attended another amazing talk today delivered by the fantastic Jodie Clarke,
Pages and pages of notes taken on autistic burnout, masking , introception, double empathy, hyper empathy and much more .
I can’t speak highly enough of Jodie and how raw she delivers her talks.
Thank you 🥰🥰
Excellent talk via Teams this evening delivered by Jodie Clarke on navigating autistic burnout in children and young people.
I have just pre-ordered her book (on audible) after absolutely loving her first title The Secret Life Rose.

The ultimate ADHD medication test is about to begin - I’m about to read my uni books - will I have to read every line multiple times? Will I remember what I’ve read? Will I get distracted by 25 different things? Find out on the next chapter of please lord fix my squirrel brain!
Well, that last part made my eyes wet 🥹❤️
I am so grateful to Study Tech who are supplying me with all this, free of charge, as a student with ADHD.
As much as I’m enjoying uni & recognise an honours in psychology isn’t going to be easy, there are parts of my ‘disorder’ that make some aspects of studying so much harder.
The culture wars, the race wars, the gender wars...all smoke screens for the war they don't want you to fight.
The class wars.
This time of year the sound of sirens gives me anxiety.
As does people not answering the phone or being home later than scheduled.
It’s an ADHD/OCD intrusive thought pattern that always happens in the happiest of times because my brain is trying to prepare for something bad to happen. Oh what fun!
Emotional intelligence colour book sheets where kids can fill in how they feel and why.

I did exactly the same. I ran a successful fulfilling business for 8 years. Took less and less bookings as his needs grew higher and in the end I quit work to look after him and I’ve been shown ever since that it was the right decision to make.
The more I learn about high levels of cortisol and trauma affecting mental health and wellbeing, the more I wonder how education would be different if we put these areas first and foremost.
Good morning, Blue Sky.
Being resilient is easier when you're surrounded by the right people.
Build communities that make you smarter and tougher for the battles ahead.
Never give up hope. Never stop fighting for what is right. And just.
Whatever comes our way, we will face it together.
Every single school should have a library & a librarian, to help every single child find the books that will make them readers, and give them all the lifelong benefits of literacy. Libraries & librarians change children's lives FOREVER!

I’ve done a deep dive into why we find ourselves in the situation we do.
So. If you fancy reading about 4000 words on Town. Put the kettle on. Put your feet up and settle down for half an hour.
