Denmark is best in EU in getting workers back into jobs (twice the average rate). They also do tons of RCTs to find out what works and apply behavior science. Can’t say it’s causal, but it’s an interesting correlation at least.

Oh wow, this is really great work. Recent results on PCGs allowed much more efficient MPC preprocessing (among other things) using somewhat new assumptions. Apparently, these assumptions are too strong.

Congratulations to the authors on their IACR grant slam of breaks :)

Absolutely sure we won't. I'm just thinking that worldwide we'll see more investments into this, so globally the decline won't be as severe 5 years from now. It's sound economic policy to invest into this, if you have the human resources.

And you get the best of our university graduates because education is free in most of Europe and we didn't stop them from emigrating.

Are we now gonna set up a spreadsheet to check who benefited most?

Money and people will primarily shift elsewhere. Other countries want to have those results and monetize them to the same extent. If more talented Europeans stay in Europe, there's ultimately more money here to support that research.
