Yeah, for sure. Has to be the worst thing a footballer can go through really - and he has had to deal with it too often.
It is a tricky one. Maresca's comments re captaincy were of course about his leadership behind the scenes etc but equally, when you look at it now, surely how long your captain is actually on the pitch makes a big difference.
