Totally agree. I see the same cars parked outside the train station (some on double yellows, some just outstaying the 3hr time limit in marked bays) week in and week out. Occasionally with a parking ticket on the window but mostly with no consequence

I remember doing this sort of thing when i was in junior school, aged about 9 or 10. Trying to convince drivers to slow down, not sit with their engines idling at pick up time & not park on the restricted area outside the gates.
I'm 42 now 😬
"I would rather w**k with a razor".
Pretty clear response from bloke in Wales when asked if he would consider voting Reform...
The man from Reform (who took it in good spirits tbf) is Zak Weaver, a former Tory staffer who defected in February.
Welsh Conservatives leaflet apparently encouraging me to vote for them whilst also threatening that i'll end up with them if enough people do vote for them.
Not sure the Welsh Conservatives leaflet message says what they think it says tbh!
Having a second child was what really got me thinking about doing things differently.
With the first, I was stuck in traffic doing school run/ long commute etc.
It was 11 yrs before my 2nd arrived & I wanted different for her. Got me to researching walkable neighborhoods which led to cargo bikes!
Can confirm I have also done this.
The next day, it was back blocking the pathway.
So I moved it again.
I can tell him from Wales (also hilly, also wet and also regularly in the dark) thats nonsense.
Also declaring that 'huge resources' are 'wasted' and its 'entitled' to not want to be killed is RUDE!
Me wearing one of these on my gentle 2 mile commute to the train station, which then inflates randomly when it senses me having to brake hard because I live in Wales and it's hilly here 🤦♀️
SUV drivers: "my expensive luxury car isn't meant to go at 20mph, it'll ruin the engine and knacker the gearbox!!!"
Also SUV drivers: "my car will definitely be able to drive over any obstacle that gets in my way"
Charge car owners the actual cost of storing their personal property on the roads, and use the money to offset the cost of making the cycle storage free to use.
Agreed, and what a beautiful colour!
M4 relief road talk in run up to Senedd elections 😬.
This article makes me feel a bit sick - ALL routes go straight through protected areas & nature reserves, & costs £billions.
Plaid, Tories and Reform should be ashamed.
This would devastate the area.

🤬 This is just the sort of driver who doesn't care, will end up killing someone and then plead 'hardship' and walk away with a small fine.
If you've caught them 3 times, I wonder how often they've got away with doing dreadful dangerous stuff.
Use the credit card to buy a bicycle.
Beautiful! 😁
Of course there will be plenty of ppl who can / will want to ride all kinds of bikes. But I expect there will be ppl driving past seeing that, who's first thought is "well its not for me. I have 2 kids in the back of the car, you cant bike with 2 kids!"
We need to be showing thats not true
This is great,of course.
But I'd like to see more visibility of non-standard bikes used in stuff like this. Even the @thebikinglawyer.bsky.social logo has the same type of bike.
To get ppl out of cars, we need to demonstrate that bikes can carry kids, shopping etc & you can wear your normal clothes
Reform were apparently canvassing along my street in Wales yesterday.
Lovely to see the streets WhatsApp chat lit up with "ewww no thanks" & "thanks for the heads up, I won't answer the door" from pretty much every household.
Hope is alive ❤️ they won't come out on top in May
A billionaire can get what they want with one donation to a political party. The rest of us must fight for years to get even the most basic rights recognised. Money destroys democracy, more than any other cause. The first step towards a better world is to stop the rich buying political outcomes.
It is absolutely INSANE to suggest this.
Introverts have been misunderstood for way too long. It’s not about being shy or antisocial. Introversion just means finding energy in solitude. People need to start learning about it instead of judging it
I wonder if his feelings will change if he suddenly needs a mobility scooter, wheelchair or other aid?
man in suit from behind with question marks everywhere Man unsure if it's all the reckless cyclists taking over the roads he hates or if there aren't enough to warrant bike lanes.
Man unsure if it's all the reckless cyclists taking over the roads he hates or if there aren't enough to warrant bike lanes.
There have been 'plans' to upgrade the A48 dual carriageway to include cycle lanes for years now. If people would be brave and push this stuff through, it would be done by now and a really good example of what can be done.
Instead, they are always 'plans'

Can we please have safe, walkable routes to get to them as well????
If ONLY they had done this during covid, the lanes would already be there, already being used, and it'd be much easier to reduce fuel demand even further 🤦♀️
💯
This at least makes me feel a little better that the anti 20mph drivel isn't solely limited to Wales!
60 million pheasants and red legged partridges are released annually.
That's more than double the amount of our native breeding bird biomass released into the landscape EVERY autumn.
And most never even get shot. The majority starve, get predated or are hit by SUVs.
Good of them to photoshop out the zimmerframe
