Gonna need more context. 🖤 It's definitely not a no-no word but I'd probably only drop it once a book unless it's a character's sarcastic catch phrase. I'm also pretty aggressive about not letting my manuscripts get too repetitive but I don't find other folks care as much about repeated words.
