Anyway, yea! Xor is my best friend in the entire world & my partner of 8 years. I wouldn't even be here posting this thread on XIV Bsky if it wasn't for him asking me to join him in his favorite MMO in 2019. As a side note, it is the only job stone he uses that is not his own. He has a full set of martial job stones for his work, so he can test the equipment before handing it over to his clients, a practice his master had drilled into him.

Xorriel had a wife and child. Directly before being subjugated by garlean soldiers, his family was slaughtered and he was made to forge the equipment for hundreds of soldiers, somewhere in the Doman area.

He happens to escape, but still keeps his late wife's GNB stone, and uses it to test equipment

Honestly? I couldn't really say. Not to cop out, but the "perfect" date is a moving target. Could be a movie and dinner, or a concert with backstage passes. Could be going to a convention where a VA you admire is doing a meet n greet. I just love spending time together
