for today's #birdoftheday theme I have this picture of an Australian Magpie perched on top of a sign in a car park instead of the ground
keeping to today's #birdoftheday theme, close-ups, here is this very photogenic Eurasian Coot
today's #birdoftheday offering is this trio of silver gulls sleeping on the rocks during low tide in #Warrnambool
I've been trying to process this for the past half an hour
really just nothing coherent to say
what the fuck!?
I hate the Liberal Party so much
just no words
what the fuck!?
I really just don't know what to say about this. They just got told their puberty blocker freeze was unlawful with the harm it caused outlined in excruciating detail, and it's been reinstated, not even half a day after it got overturned
HELL FUCKING YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Grey Fantail
today's #birdoftheday offering is the Cape Barren Goose
I really need to get back into posting my bird photography
Theme for today's #birdoftheday is favourite bird. Really only one that comes to mind for me, and that's the Little Pied Cormorant. Not especially rare, exotic, or the flashiest, but watching these guys is what got me into bird watching and they will always hold a special place in my heart
Screenshot from a Tumblr post by ralfmaximus: Mozilla, in its finite wisdom, embedded LLM bots into recent versions of Firefox for the vitally-important purpose of… naming tab groups. Now, some users are noticing CPU and power usage spikes caused by a background process called Inference. Ugh. Reminder again for Firefox users to visit your about:config page, search for the browser.ml.chat.enabled key, and set that to false: If yours says true then double-click it until it reads false. Doing that turns off the AI chatbot features in Firefox, but also the stupid new LLM tab-naming feature that's rolling out
Hey Firefox users.
going through old photos on my phone has really made me realise just how far I've come in my transition
left: last pre-transition photo of me (2023)
right: 7 months on hrt (today)
same tbh
watching American politicians and media talk about Iran in almost the exact same way they discussed Iraq in 2003 has been wild
time truly is a flat circle
trans people dont have to look cis to be valid, respected, and supported
🧱
honestly a mood, istg those were like every second ad on YouTube
Peter Dutton losing his seat in what seems to be an ALPLandslide is probably the funniest result that could have come from this election
the Liberal party guys trying to give me voting guides at the voting station are adorable, like, honey, your party doesn't think I deserve rights, I'm not voting for you
I think people mostly just don't like the phrase "all art I political" because they think of politics in a very specific electoral way and not as a broad label for the conditions that shape our perspective, which funnily enough is very political
If Robert De Niro an 81 year old man, can love his trans daughter.
Than you can too support trans people.
No more saying "oh they're old, they just hateful"
People can be loving & supportive at any age
ngl, really feeling the election anxiety this election cycle
