I think a lot of people who hate it are actually just a bit scared because they are seen like you don’t ponder who you were over the years and a lot of your posts are exposing a past you you have no control over…like it should be humbling but in a way a bit intimate too

Exactly. For me it’s the male young adulthood I never gotten to experience and the sense of belonging you can’t really get with the with one size fits all writing most OCs get like with OCs you’re a ghost that willed itself into existence which can be fun but premade can be so healing

This is super fair. I heard that was during the time of the first game but supposedly they made some changes for the second one? Either a change of heart or him having less power. (Still not done with the series but that’s a super valid reason to stay away. The first game being 8 bux rn helped)

Started playing KCD. Love projecting onto Henry. Theresa and Hans are a highlight. Quests are super interesting. The plot isn’t anything unique but the immersion is something spectacular. Combat is fun until there’s more than one enemy at a time.
Thinking about a quote I really liked which went “the only reasons protests can work is because they are a promise of a riot if demands aren’t met” like yeah you have to remember that the people in power are scared shitless of an angry mob despite all the posturing.
