📣 New pub! We tested whether telementoring could support middle school teachers—and it did. Teachers reported less burnout and more confidence with peer dynamics, and their students felt greater belonging. We found that strong relatedness with both the instructor and peers are uniquely associated with specific types of help-seeking behavior. We also found that some of the associations of competence and autonomy with students’ help-seeking behavior depended on their relatedness with instructors.
