Thank you!! Definitely true of LLMs. They have horribly undermined college instruction by communicating to the current generation of students that their writing and ideas have no value.
I did my undergrad and PhD at Yale and have been a faculty member at a small college in Pennsylvania for 25 years. While I had some great experiences at Yale, I think the college I'm a part of now does a better job preparing students to contribute well to society and to be happy doing it.
So glad we're getting high power and water bills, air pollution, and noise from AI data centers to make this worthless garbage possible!
