You've certainly got a lot on your plate.
I enjoy some autobiographies, currently making my way through these two.

I think this site is playing up again, or, is again being played by a DOS attack.

Well from where I am, anyway...

Oh, do you - books about what?
I always remember you as being well read and fully literate / articulate?

Quite - the constant seeking of reassurance. Hmm.

I think I might update my profile, which is 175 years out of date - and then see what happens.

In other words, 'Don't, Gary'.

Ha ha.

I get an email from them most days, and yes, the desperate, grasping, self affirmation, coupled with attention seeking, box ticking and backed with ye auld quotes and PDF's are really rather overwhelming... and don't do the OP any favours either.

Well, that's cleared that Social Media situation up.

Yes, I should perhaps get more involved.
But then, nobody wants even more of that Gary White eh hmm.

Well I've an account, but I never have really used it properly or thoroughly.
Likewise LinkedIn.

I know many need to use it & I suppose, I could & then be all over it.

My friends and family are on there, and I no doubt miss out on a lot by not being there.

But then.. I dunno Chris, is it alright?

Hello Chris.

Can I just stop you at 'checking in on Facebook' lol?

Speaking as a friend.

Ah, good. I know it's a strange thing to say, when you see it written down, but he did have a 'thoughtful mind'.

We were so pleased to be able to see him play live; had given up hope tbh, but then all of a sudden, we did. At Man City (your gif goes here, lol).

Brian Rix (Christmas Special, set in Portugal) LIVES!

Hopefully your belt then snapped and your trousers fell down.

Just in time for the Vicar to enter, via your French Windows, just as the housemaid let herself out by the back door..

He's a perennial favourite here.
What were they, mostly, playing Rob?

Nobody wants to be the first one to say "Where's the cue ball going", do they.. *Respect*

But still, not the time and place, etc..

Man on the Run: Paul McCartney and Morgan Neville in Conversation
Man on the Run: Paul McCartney and Morgan Neville in Conversation YouTube video by PAUL McCARTNEY

If you want to watch & listen to something, try this; youtu.be/xCJnykh4BPE?...
If you can't make time for it all, then 29 mins in..

An honest view about himself & Others, from someone who is *notably* good with their words. And still here to ask.
That's the point.

Still here = can ask.

I am impressed.

Two or three days ago, it was forecast to rain very near to 4pm on Wednesday.

And here we are, and here it is, raining.

All hale. No not hail.

Excellent News.
Went there yesterday. Looked at reduced tins. An undercoat (only 35 quid, mind you), called 'Dead Vole's Back', or something.
In other words, grey undercoat.

Also a Laura Ashley matt cream emulsion, just 30 a tin. But called Late Summer Afternoon Curdled Milk.
(I made that name up)

My new phone was posted to my old address where I haven't lived for sixteen years. This isn't a mistake that's happened before so my only hope is my childhood home's new inhabitants are big Sooz Kempner heads and get in touch. ORRRRRR they know someone who is.

Please repost for me to receive phone.

Inside the £64bn pharma deal that could cost more lives than Covid With the NHS on its knees, the UK has struck a secretive new drugs deal. But how was it made – and what will it really cost?

£64bn is the cost of UK capitulation to pharmaceutical companies and Trump.

Secret deal commits the NHS to pay higher price for new and existing drugs

No debate in parliament.

Govt can tax the rich, cut other services, let people die, start manufacturing drugs and become self-reliant.

Is this a metaphorical prediction (or is it 'a prediction in metaphorical terms'?) [anyway] for the next General Election?

Oil back above $100 as US to blockade Iranian ports after peace talks fail The failure of negotiations at the weekend has raised concerns that the global energy crisis will deepen.

Bad for business. Bad for the cost of living. Bad tempered. Bad at avoiding costly foreign wars. Let's face it. Trump is just an outright failure even in his own terms
