Romped through Lost Lambs by Madeline Cash, a story of family and conspiracy, relevant, absurd, warm, funny.

Anyone read The Methods of Sergeant Cluff?
Cluff the detective and Clive the dog (who he writes like a person) and throw in a Barker (not a dog).
I was a little confused and not much entertained.
Not a classic in the series imo.
Now I need to know.
Gorgeous!
Blue sky over the sea, groynes, a drift wood circle poking through the sand

Dynasty was even more bonkers than I remember. (I loved it).

Really eerie. Just looked up the solution and am still baffled…
Yes! So magical, so memorable and completely baffling.
Newspaper columnists are in a unique position to shape the political agenda 📰
But the profession isn't very accessible.
Our research found that half of Britain's newspaper columnists were privately educated.
This figure is up from 44% in 2019 and 43% in 2014.

Charmed by Project Hail Mary, Ryan Gosling on top form, it is warm, funny and escapist, if anyone feels the need for that sort of thing at the moment question?

It’s great.
Seconded!
I would say give Ann Patchett one more try with Tom Lake, which I found to be a beautiful book, and was subsequently a bit disappointed by Commonwealth.
The Best of Everything is great! Paulette is a character that has a special place in my heart.
Jayme Lawson from Sinners hit the nail on the head and said how I felt with the whole BAFTAs situation.
Heartily agree. “Pop of colour” is one of my (many) bugbears.

Wunmi Mosaku winning Best Supporting Actress BAFTA, her picture from the end of Sinners
Robert Aramayo, winner of Leading Actor BAFTA, picture of him at the end of I Swear
Hooray for BAFTA wins for Wunmi Mosaku and Robert Aramayo!
Very much seconded. Did shed a little tear when he won. Terrific performance, in such a lovely, warm, important film.
