I’m interested to hear this from a whole different perspective. I’ve never played any FF games, so I’ll be curious listening to the episode whether FFX2 is overhated because there’s something wrong with it game-wise, or if it’s just the one everyone collectively decided was “the bad one.”

I had a sweet Nerf steering wheel that the Wiimote fit into, it was awesome. My life wasn’t going great at the time, playing this game was a nice reprieve from everything else that wasn’t working out for me in those days.

Once, I ordered a bagel sandwich that was taking forever to make. “Sorry for the wait,” “no problem!”

After I paid, I got the bag and noticed TWO bagel sandwiches. Made eye contact with the guy who made them, he gave me THE nod. To this day I have no idea why he decided “I’m gonna hook this guy up”

With season 2 of X-Men ‘97 coming, what are people thinking now that we’ve had some time with season 1? For me, it was a good time. Lots of genuinely great moments and episodes. The last couple episodes got overcrowded, some crucial things were kinda just brushed aside. Hope S2 is more consistent.

One of the classic ‘90s movie OSTs. For me it’s up there with Spawn, Tales From the Crypt: Demon Knight, and Batman Forever. I miss when movie soundtracks were full of slammers like this

16-bit and N64 eras hold a lot of memories for me. High school multiplayer tournaments in No Mercy, Goldeneye, Mario Kart, etc.

Lately I’ve been reminiscing about 2010-2011 and where I was in life, tied to memories of games like Left 4 Dead 2, Arkham Asylum, and Mortal Kombat 9. Great stuff.

As someone who always felt part of Wolverine’s mystery was a part of what made him cool, I can’t wait to check this video out!

That was also part of what threw me off! They had the “Vindicator” name attached to Heather Hudson, who I only knew from the cartoon and didn’t know/remember her hero name. Confusing history. Especially with ‘90s memories like owning this comic

When I bought those figures, I went down a rabbit hole trying to figure out why the guy I knew as “Vindicator” was being called “Guardian” on the figure package. Wasn’t sure if I was suffering a Mandela effect from ‘90s cartoons and comics, or if the same guy just really did have two names

Agreed. Time travel is hard in media, because if you think too hard about any single part of it, you end up breaking all the logic you’ve been operating by. I’m still a sucker for it though haha
