I dunno. Sending a wet, angry Vance in a sack to Iran might indicate that the US is finally willing to accept its missteps that started a war.

Warner Bros. Shareholders: You’re Being Lied To (vote is Thursday) It is 11:15pm Saturday night and I am in the SEC’s EDGAR database, which is a sentence I never thought I would type twice in one month, and yet here we are.

The Drey Dossier is worthy of the read here as an explainer on why shareholders need to vote "no".

Europe is moving in the right direction. Our data should not belong to the Amazons and Oracles. In the US we need governance models, regulation and laws that protect privacy, restrict where content resides, and ensure that we have opt-out by default for surveillance and data collection.

It's not that the employee is gone, it's that their entire knowledge base, their method of sourcing and creating knowledge, the systems that contain, construct, present, and rationalize that knowledge.... ALL OF THAT is gone. And there won't be any infrastructure or humans to recover the loss

Hi David, I'm disabled but not the same. I'm a caretaker for two adult children with physical, intellectual disability and mental illness. We need new ADA legislation, better tools to govern accessibility, and more roles filled by advocates.

It's going to be quite the wakeup call when companies realize that they fired people to outsource the knowledge work of their company to a third party who now controls the cost, logic, strategy, context, and history of what they do, so that it can be surveilled, analyzed, remodeled and sold

A serious downside of a medical suspension on my license is not being able to drive to the Empanada Fest taking place today. I was soooooo looking forward to delicious empanadas. www.empanadafestslc.com

Every time I hear her on the radio or in my playlist I think about how much she was loved, but in ways she couldn't see. It's heartbreaking because she was so incredible.

This is not AI. Segway released its MUXI electric bike, and apparently this is how it wants to present it to me. I'm cautiously intrigued.

Boots on the Ground YouTube video by Massive Attack - Topic

"Boots on the Ground" by Massive Attack and Tom Waits. It's a timely release for a refrain that we're hearing from our "no more wars" administration music.youtube.com/watch?v=kVTV...

Pretty much any gig economy company runs on MAGA principles. Non-benefited workers who compete for hours and little pay with no representation. And it's becoming obligatory work to just get by.

IRAN: Why the Blockade Is an Oracle Story If you have been following this newsletter, you know I have spent a long time tracking Oracle through nearly every corner of American infrastructure, from the Cerner rebuild to the Stargate contracts ...

This is legitimately terrifying. thedreydossier.substack.com/p/iran-why-t...

I'm just sayin', but if I was a foreign nation, or a group of foreign nations, or even possibly some sort of alliance of countries in a North Atlantic treaty of some sort, now would be a good time to stand up to Trump.

I'm wondering if this is the impact of 'living the resistance' too long. I have a lot of respect for Riebe but this just seems.... worn at the edges.

All I'm saying is that if I have to place a Blouin or a McAdams in a Congressional hallway, I want to place a Blouin in that muss.

Kathleen Riebe exits Utah’s 1st Congressional District race — and backs a familiar Democrat The state senator said she wasn’t able to raise the money to compete, and endorses a "statesman" over "some loose cannon."

I'm a Riebe fan and remain so but disagree with her endorsement. Blouin has a substantive, progressive platform he is accountable for. I don't want favorable fundraisers, I want fiery countenance. Blouin can be trusted to bring the fight. We need to bring him the votes
