4 from Susan Lipper’s Domesticated Land

I bought this book around 2021 to get free shipping on an order, but I hadn’t realized the effect it had had on me. I went back through it today and found like 5 different photographs I had essentially remade without thinking

For about a year now I’ve been collecting a big list of photography things (publishers, bookshops, institutions, etc). It grew out of my browser bookmarks that got too unwieldy to manage.

All you beautiful people on this new app might find it useful

First solo exhibition will be this Saturday in Jackson, Tennessee. I’ll be showing eleven prints from my ongoing series “Articles of Virtu.”

Very stoked.

I feel ya. Use social media sparingly. Put your phone down. Read a book. Watch a movie. Nothing is new or fresh when you’re bombarded with photography on social media all the time.

But I also agree that it’s part of the process. You need breaks like anything else.
