I'm the program chair of the SIGCSE Technical Symposium, the flagship conference for the SIG. We saw a dramatic increase in LLM-generated reviews this year. They are bland, redundant, and way too generous / uncritical. I think it's only going to get worse.

Zuck announces today that Meta is removing fact-checking from its platforms. Not that FB was ever a sane place, but it increasingly feels like Blue Sky is the only sane social media place left. I wonder what certain people who feel threatened by it will do to try and stop it / silence it?
