It's crazy out there tbh; I feel like people looking for informal housing can't afford market rate but a lot of ppl are trying to rent out rooms at-cost.

And then she told me 800 wasn't financially feasible for her and asked if I could do 1025.Oregon has laws about how much you can increase the rent but I went with it bc I had spent so much to move for the second time last year. I don't even have a stove/oven for 1025

now why did this happen to me when I moved into a basement apt last september. I made a post saying the most I could afford was 800, the woman reached out to ME. saying she would be willing to lower her rate from 1000->800. I was looking for a 6 month lease but she made me sign a 2 month lease first
