Probably my favourite 5th Doctor story ever, certainly on audio. Congrats to everyone who worked on it, so deserved.

So excited for this one. It's been an eternity. Hopefully Rassilon is used a bit more in this one, as he's very much been in the background, even the stories he physically been present in. Regardless of what happens, is just so nice to have this series back again. And long may it continue!

"Many years later..." So is that before Lucie but after Charley and C'rizz "many years later" or after Liv and Helen but before the Time War kicks off "many years later"?

Probably just a break, as this is a miniseries. Hopefully they will return next year. Though it would be nice is the sets weren't so late in the year nor that close together, as it would mean we'd have a smaller gap between sets. Though Eight fans are fed in a lot in other places, so can't complain.

Every month is McGGannuary to me, but it's nice when others acknowledge it as well.

This sounds great. Once we get Gallifrey War Room 3 news, I'll have run out of things to wish for (almost)!

This looks fantastic and I'm sure it will be. This range has become one of my favourites in recent years. All I ask is that it doesn't end with a character vanishing and whoever's left has to go after them. The last three volumes have ended that way in one form or another and it's getting a bit old.

Do you know if they will have an alternate cover to match the classic DVDs?

No other classic redesigns are as great as these. There are a few others that ended up being pretty great, after a few different versions, but these two nailed it on their first try.

For the first time since Book of Circus, this one is getting a UK release, which is great (comes out on Monday). Still hoping we'll get BoMurder and BotAtlantic over here one day, but I think it's unlikely at this point.

Although I'm not sure how the licence the BBC has for the #DoctorWho TV Movie works, but does anyone think there's any possibility of a 4K release for it's 30th Anniversary this year? Or some other type of re-release, even if it's still the Blu-ray.

Will the next Vortex be out on Monday, or before then?

Another brilliant year for @bigfinish.bsky.social releases. Once again my top Four releases has a lot of @verbatimfoley.bsky.social stories included, although I'm not surprised at all. (I'm Including both parts of Hooklight as one, as both are as phenomenal as the other.) What did other people love?

Strange that every site that's selling it lists it at 26 pages, but is actually only 15. I know a lot of them are updated closer to the release, but it's usually not this late and not usually that wrong.

Hoping the back of the Steelbook is Orange and "Land" themed. Really like the cover.

Already scared for Ash. I have a feeling you're going to be as kind to him as you were to Valarie. Still looking forward to it though.
