Final Thoughts: I’m so sad that this is the end of the series! But it was a perfect ending for my beloved con artists (and sweet angel Jake.) The twins never miss and this was no exception.

Final Thoughts: I really enjoyed this! Having my own daddy issues, it’s nice to have a character I relate to. I loved how realistic the story & characters were. Not everyone is a doctor or a firefighter, some people are Chili’s GMs! Love doesn’t always have to be glamorous to be beautiful.

Room For Improvement: I would’ve liked to see more relationship growth for Sam and Nick. I could’ve done with less Hal and more Nick.

Final Thoughts: I liked the story and it’s nice to see a romance between characters in their 40s/50s! The narrators almost ruined it for me, but the actual story saved it.

4 months ago 1 0 1 0

Audio Feedback: Both narrators drove me CRAZY. Lumi’s narrator talked like she was a news reporter. Saint’s narrator was fine until he started doing weird, breathy voices for all of the female characters. Neither of them could do Lumi’s accent & both seemed to give up on trying.

What Kept Me Hooked: The anticipation of Lumi finally getting to travel the world

Room For Improvement: I would’ve liked to learn more about how the Santa situation works in this universe.

The cover of “The Holiday Post” by L.B. Dunbar. A red-haired woman in winter clothes delivers a letter to a muscular man in a sweater with a gray beard. The backdrop is a small Christmasy town with lights and ornaments all around.

Final Thoughts: This was a great read! Funny and emotional, with well-developed characters. And I can’t say for sure, but all of the information about Silas’s condition and his accessibility aids seemed well-researched and accurate.

What Kept Me Hooked: The banter, the fact that when there was a misunderstanding, Kennedy & Silas talked things through instead of just running away!

Room For Improvement: I wish there had been a little more about Kennedy’s addiction issues and recovery.
