This one technically doesn't count cause I did do a run of once, but it was unrecorded many years ago. I honestly really love NSMB and would consider going back to it but I have so many other games I've yet to play and run

Never got too far with this one but it was such a big childhood game for me that I considered it, I don't really love Galaxy as much as I used to though

This one is stretching my definition of "wanted to speedrun" quite a bit, but I assume not a lot of people have considered a P3 run! Looked at the route and watched a couple runs, unfortunately stopped for the obvious reason of it's way too long

Pokemon HeartGold

Despite all of the various gen runs I've done, I've actually never done an HGSS run! Back when I tried to learn in many years ago I had too much trouble with manip (and this was well before manipless routes were made)

I joined the discord for the game and learned the first little bit of it! Unfortunately Super Jumps are really hard :(

Fun fact, the only reason I ended up running ZX Advent is cause I couldn't find my ZX cart when I wanted to start speedrunning it

One of the most fun speedruns to watch, I learned like a chapter and a half of any% before my wrists started to hurt

I'm surprised I considered learning this run considering I actually didn't play MM3D that much, pretty sure I stopped cause there was a really hard glitch at the time I couldn't figure out

Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door

This one is a big one, there's probably been at least 3 or 4 times in the past 10 years I thought about learning TTYD but it's a pretty hard run! Honestly with AMW now could be the time to hop in

What a fantastic game, played through it so so many times as a kid! Despite what one might think, I actually didn't stop learning this cause of hand pain, I was just bad at doing boss fights consistently

Mega Man Star Force 2

Here's a topical one! Always loved Star Force and think I even told some people in like 2016/7 that I was gonna do a Star Force run at some point and never did

Learned a decent amount of the glitches when this game first came out, honestly could see actually doing this if someone made a current patch story glitchless route
