so RE:OP sure you'd see a bit of a spike among republicans, but it would *not* hit 50% (even republicans) because they'd have lots of opposing voices from their own party/news sources. because invading a NATO country is catastrophically idiotic in a way invading other places isn't.

and they would be. we saw the cracks in his support with the Epstein thing and contrary to popular belief not everybody associated with the admin and/or republican party is actually 70 IQ.

it's not *that* easy to make a superpower democracy shoot itself in the head. maybe he'd get impeached. maybe the military would just refuse. but there's just only so much he could do when most of his appointed officials and other elected republicans are against him.

anyway invading Greenland would be *absolutely bonkers*. like, on par with attempting a coup of the US government without having consolidated military power or having any real plan whatsoever (so still something Trump might try to do) but I don't think he would get very far.

the fact that you can't disagree on this platform without your context getting rugpulled makes it kinda unworkable for any sort of engagement between people with differing views

invading Venezuela was kinda strange but not obviously a bad idea. and it was super well executed meaning if only we had propped up the democratically elected leader everything might have turned out fine (as it is it's going to be a bit of a quagmire but less bad than one could imagine)
