Sometimes it feels like we're living in a reverse They Live scenario, where perverse inhumanity and its naked propaganda is constantly being shoved into our face, and we're desperately wanting some glasses to put on to see a world that isn't flooded with fear and subjugation, if just for a moment

A ★★★½ review of Blood Bath (1966) Women in Horror Deep Dive #8 Co-Directed by Stephanie Rothman This was actually so good! The story is sort of a goofy mix between any vampire movie and Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The acting is not great but the shining light here is the direction!  There were some fun shots in this and the lighting helped so much. Also the chase scenes were great and I loved that this was another surprise proto-slasher!  Really happy I discovered this movie this month.
