FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL DIRECTOR is out today!!
If you'd like a signed copy, I'll be at B&N Corona in SoCal this Sunday :)
I just saw it! Wow, I guess this means I'll finally have to bite the bullet and buy a Switch 2. There's no way I'm passing up a dedicated Salmon Run inspired game.
Wait, what?!! *Rushes to Google*
As much as I'm against cloning too many attractions, I think putting a direct copy of Tokyo's Fantasy Springs along the shore of Adventure Bay could have been a big win. Hugely expensive, of course, but imagine how big a draw it'd be!
I'm still not convinced that a teacups ride was the best use of the Tangled property (and particularly not the lanterns scene), but at least they made it look absolutely gorgeous.
The cover for Four Weddings and a Funeral Director, showing a blonde woman in pink handing some wilted flowers to a guy in a three-piece suit
The Barbie/Goth house meme with "they're dating" superimposed
So, Four Weddings and a Funeral Director (by me, as Hazel Graves) comes out in the US in a week, and it looks like copies are arriving in the distributor warehouses!
It's basically the Barbie/Goth house meme x Freaky Friday - I hope you enjoy it!

we had this already it was called “the entirety of fantasy, SF, and horror”
(also I will reiterate for the thousandth time that MORE DUDES SHOULD READ ROMANCE, you are missing out)
books: the rectangle that can’t send you push notifications. Try: books.
It's stuff like this that helps keep me going as a children's author. I met Allen's daughter seven or eight years ago, not long after The Train to Impossible Places was published, so I'm over the moon the learn that she still carries the book and its characters with her. #KidLit #KidLitUK
I'm fine thanks. Quite good, actually. I've just been listening to too many political podcasts. Hope you're doing well too.
If you teared-up at the Project Hail Mary movie or felt a surge of wild joy at the launch of Artemis II, then do yourself a fever and get your hands on some science-fiction novels. It’s where the good stuff is.
Whoops! I'm not normally that frank, but I've been having a morning. I had no idea anyone was still paying attention over there.
Hi there! So good to see you on here. Wow, that day at Mail Rail feels like a lifetime ago. I'm thrilled, and deeply touched, to hear that your eldest still thinks fondly of the books. Especially Ursel, who doesn't get enough love. Please give her my best!
Tag yourself. I'm "recapping a movie, but it's longer than the movie."
A copy of THE BIG BAD WOLF MURDER by PG Bell. The cover shows a girl in red and a red wolf/fox-like creature running from a wolf in a night-time urban setting
Hey @pgbellwriter.bsky.social, look what I have!
Woo! Thanks so much for asking your library to order it. And have fun reading it!
Looks like a party at the ol' Ravenswood place.
I hadn't heard this rumour! Thanks for another great video.
Sadly not! But we're off to Scotland, Spain and the Netherlands this year; our first family holidays since 2019.
Happy anniversary!
Close to $100 billion dollars trying to build Second Life again.
Yes, it looks like a good foundation for future expansion - a foundation they should have built 24 years ago. But hey, Lion King is on the way, which will help. And who knows, after that?
I worked at WDS opening year, when it was all asphalt and beige boxes, and I can't begin to express how exciting it is to see these new areas opening up. I know they're not perfect, but they're SO much better than what came before. Hope you're having a blast!
Also, I've just seen the actual Firefly news and... an animated prequel series? Really?
I suppose a Western's always going to lean into rugged individualism, so that was priced in, at least to an extent. The thing that always got me was this was supposed to be an Asian-centric(ish) culture, the characters all spoke Chinese, but there were no Asian cast members at all.
Four Weddings and a Funeral Director by @stephcampisi.bsky.social is firmly in the fluffy (and funny) category. Really enjoying it.
It was wonderful having everyone here with Karin Mear today!
Her next workshop on April 18th has spaces available, you can book your space here!

Whoop whoop whoop!
Watched it, and I will now vote for whichever party in the Senedd promises to stop you doing this.
