The problem is there is no locally owned and operated TV news outlet. The majority of Mainers are watching TV and/or reading papers. Neither of which provide any in depth coverage or context .

It’s a Sinclair Broadcasting station. Total right wing corporation that feeds news to its stations. John Oliver covered them well a year or two ago.
WCSH is a TENGA company, very similar story. There is no reliable TV news in Maine.

The worst part is he’s not running again.
